Fellini let’s you know from the opening scene that this is going to be a completely different type of project for him.
Surrealistic, completely original and self aware. A masterpiece that shall forever stand the test of time and keep influencing the masters of today and those of the foreseeable future.

Often called, and rightly so, the best film about filmmaking, it is also a film about self reflection,
dreams and regrets of a man, but above all, inner confusion. A courageous undertaking by Fellini, who paints this fictional version of himself in a less than favorable light, but besides the obvious difficulty in exposing all your flaws for the world to see, this film seems to present a colossal amount of themes and ideas that only a true cinematic genius, at the top of his game, could intertwine into such a seamless experience.
