Christopher Nolan’s new high pace thrill ride is definitely one for the books, and a bold one at that. The visuals are stunning and combined with the intense soundtrack help to really give a true sense of scale and awe to the feats on screen. The story is definitely up there with the complexity to that of Nolan’s precious work and will require several viewings to truly take shape, however I feel in its complexity lies it’s failure to tell…

The true physiological thriller experience,
The lighthouse deals with several heavy themes but my personal favourite of the many had to be the films approach to isolation, it really shows what can happen to a human mind when left to ‘rot’ and the damage that every thought has the potential to unleash.
A truly brilliant experience that deserves several viewings to capture properly, Defoe and Pattinson really blew me out of the park with their equally spectacular performance.
