Watched this movie twice now. It gets me too damn hype. I first learned about the homie Freddy Hampton a few years ago and I'm so glad he is getting some love now. The fact that the movie studio didn't shy away from using some of those scary "ism" words is...interesting. Capitalism will sell us the rope it uses to hang itself tho. To quote basically everyone in The Wire, "that' s how they do."

Anyway, this movie further convinced me that Cyrus from The Warriors is basically Freddy fuckin' Hampton.
