James Atkinson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Love, Death and Robots is back! I love this show and it's show case of animation and artistic style.
Starting us off is Automated Customer Service, a short that should work for everyone, either you work for these phone companies and wish you could talk to the shitty customers like this or like me you will just nod your head in agreement that none of it is a stretch from what you normally go through on the phone. It's is a pretty run of the mill take on our reliance on technology, there's nothing too biting here, it's just a fun wee watch.
The animation is realistic in texture and environment but with caricature style large heads and it looks great!
Academy Award goes to the dog walking, poop cleaning robot, what a thankless job.
