Watching a movie on a flatbed/steenbeck has the same effect as an airplane where it doesn’t matter how much footage is missing or how badly the color has faded to magenta — you’re still glued to the screen the whole time.
Very fun picaresque type movie. Script not totally refined but that’s not really the point. Definitely lands all the right emotional notes (although that glaring b-level visual effect at the end is a big yikes)
