Builds an unsettling rhythm out of framing and sound design, but writer-director Chloe Okuno keeps the tone of this psychological chiller quite subdued. Sits awkwardly between thriller and straight drama, missing something key along the way to give it real bite.

Looking: The Movie 2016
No, you cried because of the way it encapsulates yearning and change and says a giant fuck you to conformative gay culture and because of the humanity and the performances and the cinematography and the shot of the mirror. I could watch this movie a dozen times in a row right now and continue finding beautiful, perfect moments. It speaks to a world I know all too well. I just loved every single second so much my heard could burst.
