Actually started watching this yesterday but turned it off after 20 minutes because it looked like standard issue James Wan jumpscare bullshit. Read up that patience was necessary but my Wan patience is historically low. It's a great ride when it commences but Wan essentially uses a 90 minute exposition to get there. Reminded me of that Henenlotter movie Basket Case. That said, this is probably Wan's best effort
