George’s review published on Letterboxd:
James Gunn basically created a throughly exciting CBM while turning most of the general MCU criticisms on their heads. There was a great villain (taken a while Marvel) and interesting characters that really complemented the story. The colours and the cinematography are probably the best the MCU has produced, which just makes the viewing experience that much better. But, the over abundance of scatological humour (yeah that's right I'm smart look it up) was way too much at times and did take me out of the film a fair bit.
Overall, this is the second best film Marvel has made (objectively speaking) and I had a blast.
