This gave me a weird vibe that it was a movie aimed at gaming nerds but also hated who gaming nerds are?

But I do appreciate trying an original concept tent pole during a time of an over saturation of sequels and superheroes. Also all in for Jodie Comer and Joe Keery, that ending was wonderful and my god Jodie’s talent really highlights how one note Ryan Reynolds is.

Damn it, zombie movies aren’t meant to make me FEEL things!!

Who cares about a complex plot when you have Kate Beckinsale being incredibly hot and brutally taking down countless men in great lighting!

God damn Kate Winslet is great!!! And releasing it weekly was a brilliant choice, I loved looking forward to a new episode, and it wouldn’t have kept my attention in a block of episodes at once. Of course in that case I could’ve paced myself, but I’m not that kinda gal!

  • Army of the Dead

    Army of the Dead

Bringing almost nothing new to the zombie genre (except for maybe one creepy f*ing baby) and filled with tired tropes. But still a fun way to waste a Saturday night?

The wine mum in me really loved this. Pink is truly an astonishing live performer (no one else is delivering such powerful vocals while suspended upside down above a crowd!!) and she seems like an actually grounded pop star, rather than someone who tries really hard to appear genuine (I think you know who I’m talking about).

I saw this in a packed theatre which made it even more thrilling when we all freaked out together. And there was a LOT of stressful moments. It’s beautifully and skilfully filmed for this genre, so it’s definitely worth seeing on the biggest screen possible.

God damn I hope Zoey Deutch has a long career, because she has a face and a presence I couldn’t get sick of seeing.

I’ve been meaning to finish The Big Short for about two years now and this was a similar concept but way more fun, just as energetic, and I actually somewhat understood the financial concepts.

In comparison to other action or superhero tv shows, this is utterly bland and often nonsensical. Episodes go by with little plot moving forward and maybe it could’ve been a movie, but you can’t make a tv show with the same approach.

Anthony Mackie’s journey to becoming Captain America is the only interesting part and honestly that was dampened by the infuriating boat storyline that could’ve easily been solved by him doing just one paid sports drink sponsorship! Or call…

Alan Kim and his lil cowboy boots 🥺🥺🥺

So softly and sweetly filmed, while also emotionally heartbreaking. As a farmers daughter who watched her parents marriage fall apart as they struggled on the land, my heart ached for their story.
