52 Week Challenge - Week 25 - A Film Featuring Non Human Characters
Well I was just a wee bitty wrong about this one...
I'm so glad I gave it another go. Upping to 8/10 from 4/10 🙈 I'm blaming watching it in college class.
From the very beginning the stop motion animation is absolutely jaw dropping. Seriously it is some of the most stunning animation I've ever seen, from the animal fur to the little baguettes in the Baker shop window it is all wonderful.
I enjoy the wit on display here. It's so dry and clever. I chuckled a few times. Great characters and voice cast.
I enjoyed the music. Both the score and the soundtrack. Jarvis Cocker popping up was so random but it worked.
The way of modernising and expanding the story was pretty clever.
I loved the parts with the Latin names and the Wolf. ❤
Like I mentioned above, they did have to expand the story and sadly I found that it became quite repetitive and started to drag on for me.
The Little kids rhyme was a bit overused.
I didn't like how mean Foxy was to Ash for most of the film. I think he's precious even though I hate spitting. 🤣
😍Eye Candy: Why are animated foxes usually always attractive. It's madness 🤣 help!
So overall, I hang my head in shame because this was pretty damn great. That animation though! 👌🏻
