American Psycho

American Psycho ★★★★½

"There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping you and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there."

I remembered liking American Psycho (2000) back when I saw it, but not that much. Well... I'm happy to annouce that my perception of this film has changed this time around because, let's be honest here, Patrick Bateman is just too memorable of a character.

Not that I approve of his life decisions, but there's something to learn from him. For better or worse.
