one of my favorite things about the classic fright the fuck out fest that is The Exorcist isn't even something that happens during the movie. it's afterwards when you are alone, in the dark and you are convinced there is something behind you... or watching you... that feeling of fear and dread that the film causes. that's some of the real power of a horror freak out and The Exorcist is a freaking symphony of that breed of terror.
also, seems like MRI machines in the early 70s were the worst things ever.
