First of all hiya to all my new followers! My Last Jedi review seems to have resonated with a lot of you.
Last night we watched this classic. I know it inside out. Every line, every delivery, every silly Gremlin noise "deegal, deegal, deeegaaaall". What I love most is how all of the scenes mean something. There isn't a wasted moment. The subplot about the father being a shit inventor rewards through the comedy as well as establishing the love his wife has for him. Sure, she's constantly at odds with his useless inventions but supports him in his hobby because of the love she has for him. Gremlins balances this love by giving her one of the best scenes in the movie where she single-handedly kills most of the gremlins in her kitchen. She's totally badass.
