It tears down the entire Scream franchise and then tries to rebuild it back to what it was, all the while paying loads of lip service to what came in between — and showcasing what's probably the biggest meta bulge in the entire series (one wouldn't think that would be possible by now, but I sure was mistaken). Basically, the self-referencing slasher version of The Last Jedi... Which means it's pretty killer.
