most definitely wins the biggest ‘out-of-left-field’ masterpiece award, for me personally.
I had minimal knowledge of princess diana’s history, other than it was a depressing cultural event that took place. Therefore, I had very little excitement towards this film’s release — my friend really wanted to see it & I’m thrilled that we did: it’s special. Visually it was unbelievably spot on, the cinematography felt very 90’s with modern techniques styled in. Powerfully strong, yet a delicately handled screenplay. Jazzy ass score that had me anxiety filled yet totally groovin’. This is Kristen Stewart’s strongest lead role, she absolutely kills it, magnificent. Spencer was a film I had no real emotion towards seeing, & I left the theatre with a memorable piece of cinema.
