Everything a good sequel should be, expanding on the themes of its predecesor and seamlessly continuing all the character arcs, while still holding on to what makes these movies so fun (Blasters! Aliens! Good jokes! Sci-fi nonsense!) Even though there are a few stretches of total CGI overstimulation, this is absolutely the best looking MCU movie by virtue of having a vibrant color palette (be gone, wet cement look!), well done VFX, and a director and cinematographer who are willing to do interesting camerawork. 

The Guardians are still the best part of the MCU for me. I just love seeing my beloved space friends go on adventures!
