Last year I made a list "Andra explores Italy", the point was to "force" myself to watch more movies from Italy (my country), and, while I still need to watch most of the movies on that list, it worked, I discovered some amazing movies and I plan on continuing to follow that list in the future, maybe even expand it.
Now, there are lots of countries I know very little about movie-wise, and so I decided to take that project on a new level and make a new list on a country I have watched very few things from: China.
China has a rich history and I know very little about it and its cinema, so I hope this list will be an incentive to explore more of the things I don't know.
This will both feature movies from China and Hong Kong.
Recs are always welcomed, both movie recs and essays and books about this subject.
