This is my favorite film of the series. It was the first one I watched, when I was way way too young to be watching it. Since then, it's been one of my favorite films.
I love how dark this film is. I know it's controversial but I like how far it goes. The film is nonstop from start to finish. I love the story.
The direction is solid like the first film. John Williams score here is the best of the series by far!
Indiana Jones has a cool arc in this film. He's just an absolute badass & one of the greatest film protagonists of all time. Ke Huy Quan as Short Round is an awesome addition!
Willie is the biggest complaint of this film & while yes she can be annoying, she works for me. Going that direction is... interesting but I like how she's involved with this story.
The 3rd act is my favorite 3rd act in the series. It's intense as hell. That bridge scene...
Amrish Puri as Mola Rum is my favorite Indiana Jones villain. He's so creepy & serves the story so well. He reminds me of Bela Lugosi.
The first sacrifice scene is my favorite scene in any Indiana Jones film. It's perfectly executed.
I'm in the minority when I say this is the best of the Indiana Jones films. I love it & it's one of my all time favorites.
