I feared a puff piece, but this is educational, well-paced, creatively edited, and even critical of Cousteau and his colleagues' treatment of nature early in their careers (I assumed we'd skip over this period of ignorance and irresponsibility in favor of all the objectively good times). Really a very dark movie at times.

Stylishly edited with hip music and video effects, but good because it's a solid, straight-forward chronology of the opioid crisis. What's particularly impressive here is that it somehow made me more furious about the current situation without giving me a lot new information, just more specific information.

The clips from Perdue sales video where white people sing/rap parodies of popular black music is some jaw dropping shit.

Anyway, we should probably arrest all of these people, redistribute their wealth, burn all of their beloved belongings in front of them, and stick them a brutal labor camp for the rest of their lives.

I find comfort in the patterns of pyramid scheme/MLM and other scam documentaries. There's an ebb and flow to them. Like water washing up on polished rocks and the sound of one hand clapping.
