I have to say that after watching Barry Lyndon, I have to say that Stanley Kubrick is probably the most brilliant filmmaker I’ve seen. I love all the metaphors within his films. Barry Lyndon is another masterpiece. It just shows that you have to appreciate the little things in life that you may take for granted. Such a powerful movie, with so many ways to interpret it just like 2001. I hadn’t seen a really awesome film in a while, and this was a great return to them. The ending was very moving as well. Can’t recommend it enough.
