  “MOMMY'S WITH THE MAGGOTS NOW”

  im gonna be very honest, the blood colour upgrade from “Evil Dead(2013)” to this latest one itself deserves my full stars. i love the second half til the end of this movie very much! Also, can we talk about the elevator scene references from Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining(1980)” yes, the one that gets it get it! this one definitely has the best opening title card reveal everrrr because that fonts colouring was so dope! Alyssa Sutherland‘s performance was superb i mean please just give her more roles in horror genre. i would really love to see her again!

  THAT ending itself deserves a full stars rating like be for real pls— as always, in A24’ horror / thriller , I TRUST.

  + best music score as well guess i’ll be listening to that “Le Monde” remix on repeat.

  2 stars for Bront Palarae and Amerul Affendi only, yes honestly im only watching it bcause of them.

  i just cant with the cheap CGI editings lmao but i had very good laughs, though. this wasn’t scary bit to me at all. i love the idea of horror-folkfore already but mehh sadly the execution were poor. i hate to compare but to think of it(in terms of story-execution), i liked “Inang(2022)” much better, and its an indonesian-horror film.

  their chemistry is so good together idont even like love stories but only watched this bcause of them so yeah please put both Dian Sastrowardoyo & Ario Bayu in more romantic films next time maybe and yes i promise i’ll watch it

  valak is MOTHERING!
  her(Bonnie Aarons) face card tho! 

  a bit slow for a storyline development but still better than the first one. valak SLAY that magazine scene gotta be my favorite scene because compared to from the first one i don’t really think i have any memorable scary scene from it. i also love the red lights hallway scene too!! memorable enough as much as The Conjuring 2’s valak potrait scene though 

  and still Mr james wan as producer????
