You can easily see why Michael Parks as Texas Ranger Earl McGraw became the de facto recurring character in the Tarantino-verse. He’s HILARIOUS. I mean Tarantino has written some pretty funny shit over his amazing career, but I’m not sure there’s ever been a funnier monologue in movie history than Parks talking about puking up pigs in a blanket all morning because of some potato head behind the grill at the local grease pit. And then crazy tension, an amazing shoot-out, a dude on fire, explosions and you name it....
But that’s just the first goddamn scene!
