“I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse,”
Its totally griping from beginning to end but I did have a handful of issues that ruined my immersion. Also that score was just pure perfection.
Positives: A great and engaging script that never bored me, good emphasis on making all the characters relevant, good framing composition.
But some of the violence and acting didn’t work for me. The Don’s daughter was pretty bad and that public scene with Sonnie just wasn’t convincing.
It was all great and I see myself revisiting it, but it didn’t offer me that escapism I love in film.
