There are certain clicks in this movie that shifts the tone from tragedy, to eroticism, to comedy and back again. The scenes are so pulpy and shocking, unapologetically in the same vein as his Vengeance trilogy. Park Chan Wook delivers his own style of dark and twisted humor in this vampire mythos, centered on Song Kang Ho's character as the priest-turned-vampire grappling on his newfound taste for blood and awakened sexuality.
