I wish I could watch this for the first time again. I can’t wait to watch all of Catherine Breillat’s other films. This movie left me speechless. It touched on so many themes patriarchy, coming of age, sexual frustration, body image, etc. Breillat was able to tie all these concepts together in such a new way.
Absolutely loved the ending as well
I've watched both the short made in 2018 and the longer version from 2020. Both these films fucking RULE.
Rachel Sennott is everything. I love how it's actually a horror movie, and the situational irony/comedy at its finest (gives me Curb Your Enthusiasm vibes). We are loving the bisexual visibility.
After watching this movie I need a bagel and a toak.
Molly Gordon + Rachel Sennott = happy me.
I'm sorry, I do not care about any judgements I will receive from this review. I fucking love this movie.
After first watching this movie in theaters, I hated it. I hated that there was no central theme/question/inciting incident that captivated me. Tarantino, as he does in the majority of films, takes the viewer on a carousel ride through a period of history, and he rewrites it.
As a self proclaimed connoisseur of Sharon Tate, the Manson Cult, and all…
