As soon as I saw Matt Murdock leaning his walking stick on the table, I knew this was going to be a ride
IM LITERALLY FUCKING SPEECHLES IT WAS jUST SO DAMN GOOD I CANT ORGANIZE MY THOUGHTS IT WAS JUST SO PERFECT EVEN SO MUCH PERFECT THAN THE MEANING OF PERFECT I WAS SCREAMING CRYING SMILING OR LAUGHING BUT SO DAMN EXICTED THE WHOLE DAMN TIME.
I had the craziest and highest expectations for this and Now Way Home surpassed that. BUT LIKE IN EVERY SENSE. I swear, even the way they introduced Tobey and Andrew, I thought they were going to appear in the middle of a battle but they appeared so much sooner than I thought and so unexpectedly. When Ned opened the portal and we all saw Andrew in his Spider-Man suit, we all in the theatre gASP SO LOUDLY BECAUSE AAAAAAAAAH WTF WHAT A PERRECT WAY WHAT A PERFECT EVERYTHING AND TOBEY HOLY SHIT I SWEAR WHEN HE APPEARED ON THE PORTAL I WAS DESPERATE TO SEE HIS FACE MY DUMBASS SELF EVEN MOVED MY HEAD DOWN TO SEE IF I COULD SEE HIM BEHIND TJAT PORTAL LMAO AND WHEN HE APPEARED I SCREAMED EVEN MORE I FELT I WAS GOING TO PASS OUT. We all went nuts with every character and tbh I am so happy that I got a screening where every watcher went nuts with every character from past Spider-Man movies that came into screen, not just Tobey and Peter; which shows how loved and appreciated these other movies are for a lot of us.
I would also like to say that I loved Tom Holland in this. Tbh I used to like his Spider-Man and his Peter Parker but idk I wasn’t a big fan of him in this role for some reason, but damn, today he shut my mouth and showed me why he was such a great Spider-Man and Peter Parker. This was Tom’s most human performance of Spider-Man, I really thought that Tobey and Peter will completely steal the show from Tom but hell no, everybody really shone so equally and Tom wasn’t left behind at all.
This movie was a dream, I really was constantly rubbing my eyes cause I couldn’t believe that the multiverse was real, I couldn’t believe I was watching Tobey, Andrew and Tom performing Spider-Man in a single movie. I couldn’t believe I was watching Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church and Rhys Ifans fighting in the same movie. I’m still so amazed this is real. 10/10
