    i tried to not rate this but it wouldnt' let me. guess what it's still five stars

    some thoughts this time around:

    -I want to fistfight every single 20-35 year old man who thinks it would be a great idea to loudly make snarky comments when movies are quiet

    -you should be thrown out of a movie theater after 45 coughs and i'm being generous

    -when he enters the church towards the end, the Beast is almost DEFINITELY meant to look like he has a guitar slung on his back and that fucking rules

    this movie is legitimately a masterpiece. such a gorgeous, compassionate look at all of the concepts it tries to tackle. I cannot remember any other movie that had this believable of characters, and I was legitimately blown away by the child actors.
