wow. i love Guillermo del Toro. this is real deal movie magic

less horror more character study. totally shreds. once again duplass sells it hard, and also he is hot in this one which is weird. much more noticeably cool cinematography shit in this one

this movie is bonkers...i liked it way more than i thought i would. mark duplass sells it and the writing sells it even more. one of my favorite horror movies i've seen in a while

I really like this movie, but I have no clue why everyone reads it as a romantic movie. It's not. To me, the movie is pretty obviously about the isolation that comes with technological advancement. to say the movie is about Theo falling in love is like saying inception is about taking a nap

extremely compelling. one of the most engrossing and suspensful documentaries i've ever seen

the visuals, the worldbuilding, the soundtrack, everything was so deliberate and careful and cool. i did feel the length quite a bit towards the end, but wow. truly thankful and lucky to have witnessed something like this
