    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

    -spiderman is the best superhero
-this is the best spiderman movie
-this is the most overwhelming and breathtaking use of animation I have ever seen
    -i love spiderman

  • Mary Poppins Returns

    Mary Poppins Returns

way, WAY better than I expected this to be. songs were pretty good, the hand drawn animated scenes were absolute knockouts. so much fun. not a game changer but go have a good time dingus not everything has to be a game changer good lord

  • Fargo

love this Midwestern representation. i involuntarily said "oh jeez" multiple times during this movie. Francis McDormand is amazing

  • The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

    The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

when this is good it's jawdropping and like legitimately breathtaking. but then some of it is mediocre. basically sometimes things are good and other times they are bad. just in general

  • The Holy Mountain

    The Holy Mountain

  • The Handmaiden

    The Handmaiden

    we love opium

  • First Reformed

    First Reformed

    yea obviously

  • Ant-Man and the Wasp

    Ant-Man and the Wasp

acceptable, kind of just needed to tick the box before the new avengers

too much cgi in MCU movies is gonna make em feel like the doofy DC ones. but the quantum realm stuff was cool. michael pena is funny also.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody

    Bohemian Rhapsody

forgot to log this. last scene whipped mega hiney

  • Overlord

    hell yea
this reeks of them wanting to make it way more crazy but the production company putting a damper on it
I looked it up and I was totally right, the first draft had Boyce decapitating exploded Nazis with a giant sword and focused way more on horror. I wish I could've seen the director seriously let it rip with this concept but oh well

  • The House That Jack Built

    The House That Jack Built

  • Gummo

"life is great, without it you'd be dead"

a deeply sad, incredibly bleak, and absolutely abysmal movie. would love to talk about this with some of my friends but cannot in good conscience ask them to watch it. i need a shower

(i kind of feel like disappointed in myself that i liked this, i know it's like an edgy film bro movie or whatever but i just thought it was stunning. not in a good way necessarily, it just really knocked me on my ass)
