far from perfect but has such a wonderful and earnest beating heart that I cannot help but give it 5 stars. essentially built on the same self help chassis as The Holy Mountain and just as silly, but maybe a bit Russo brothers random for its own good at times and probably a little bloated. i don’t care though. just so kind and such a wonderful story with really really wonderful performances. started crying at “In another life, I would’ve been happy to just do laundry and taxes with you.”
taking “nothing matters” as your core life philosophy is very powerful and can totally cause someone to rot to the point of collapse without a good support system, but it is also an immense force for good
