Take the Will Smith response out of the equation, and Selective Outrage would still be a great special. Chris Rock is energized as all hell, and has a lot of great bits that are insightful as well as funny! In that regard, it's very solid. When it goes to Will Smith in the final bit, Rock shows off emotion, but also shows a nuanced point of view as well, which I appreciated. On the whole, very good special, and interesting to watch live!
