so philosophically dense i felt like i was reading theory, masterful example of utilizing narrative solely as an avenue for ideas, like all the tarkovsky movies i've watched so far. caught my mind wandering often, but that's something tarkovsky clearly encourages and pushes in a productive direction through very long periods of silence broken up by monologues and short pieces of dialogue that force your mind to take a concept with it. at one point i found myself in a…
