Patrick Fisackerly’s review published on Letterboxd:
I remember the day this came out on VHS. It was a Friday, which was unusual, to compete directly against the theatrical release of Monsters, Inc. I went to Walmart and got the oversized videocassette box that included a copy of Shrek the Halls on CD.
One day after school the next week, I brought it to the family life center at my church, a sort of fellowship hall with a TV area. A bunch of us piled into the TV room at the church, feeling awfully sneaky watching a movie there with this many suggestive jokes.
What a time it was!
