Patrick Fisackerly’s review published on Letterboxd:
I laughed a whole lot. Teared up a little. It’s a really sweet movie.
There’s a fair amount of clunky Gay Culture 101 for straight people in the first half, but I guess I get it. Statistically, most of the people who watch this movie will be straight. And for a mainstream movie, Bros definitely is a big step forward in terms of telling a queer story through a queer lens. I just hope that in 10 years, those elements will feel really dated because of how much further we’ve come.
God, I’ve missed comedies with hard jokes.
