Warren’s review published on Letterboxd:
Watching the extended cut that I only recently realized is on the second disc in case for Rob Zombie's Halloween II in the Scream Factory box set. I kept my Anchor Bay 2-disc set because I thought that edit was exclusive to it... I guess now I might have to keep it just for the lenticular cover.
When the bullies trip the boy and he falls on his pumpkin and it smashes under his weight... it breaks my heart every time.
I get the urge to watch movies from the big horror franchises with some regularity, and sometimes I don't even think to watch the originals because I've seen them so many times. After listening to House of Krazees for almost the entire day, I was primed to watch this classic, as it's sampled extensively across their albums.
