we did NOT deserve an aaron sorkin x david fincher collab but the film gods gave that to us and i am so grateful:
- when they were wrapping filming, fincher just told everyone he was leaving and walked out even though there was still another shot that needed to be finished and left sorkin to direct it
- fincher bullied sorkin into doing the scene as the ad exec even though sorkin really didn’t want to
- during the directors commentary, fincher asks any viewer who has a complaint about the film to email sorkin and literally spells out his email address. the sound guys had to bleep it
