I’ve seen this movie so many times when I was younger yet never understood what was going on. Revisiting it years later, I encountered the many memorable scenes but now was able to place logic in the story. I also appreciated the amazing wardrobe and set design this film has. It is fully submerged in the fantastical world of pirates. The “You best start believing in ghost stories, Miss Turner. You’re in one!” scene is iconic.
