30 Nations/30 Films
Nation 18 : Peru 🇵🇪
The abandonment in which the Andean people live, their precariousness, which includes old age, makes the Eternity more serious and urgent. Each action of the protagonists costs more effort, due to their advanced age, but even so they must do it to survive.
The film makes a lot of use of the word, Willka and Phaxsi are always talking, they say things that might not seem necessary, since they do not have to explain everything, but also in another way perhaps we would not understand everything they do.
In turn, their dialogues also enrich the proposal, they say things that enhance the content of the film. Some moments are very obvious, others are powerful thoughts albeit very simply expressed.
And ending hits you harder than you expect.
