It's well made and acted, but it was hard for me to get past the central couple making constant wrong decisions. I know this is a horror trope that is done a lot and it can be done well, (Green Room), but the fact that they were willing to go stay with this couple that they just met on vacation is so ridiculous to me.

I'm sure there are people who are this polite and willing to give people a chance, but come on.

I understand that them being so trustworthy and polite to these strangers is the point that the director was trying to make, but it was frustrating nevertheless.

And while I don't usually mind a bleak ending if it's earned, this one was far too cruel for my taste. It really didn't feel earned and if you really start to think about it, the logic of it kind of falls apart after the big reveal scene. Again, I understand what they were getting at, but it's still a no from me.
