Quickie Review 
The inaugural release from Disney's dearly departed Hollywood Pictures, this Amblin production is a charming and surprisingly tense creature feature. The comedy is subtle but still funny, the thriller element is genuinely suspenseful and the performances are solid, particularly John Goodman's turn as the wily exterminator who loves his job a little too much. "Arachnophobia" is one of those comic thrillers that can be enjoyed by all ages but be warned: if you have the title fear, you will squirm a little.
