Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ★★★★½

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - Review

Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

I'm going to make this quick since I have another movie I oh so desperately want to talk about. I was pretty excited for this movie. The trailers looked great, the director of this movie directed Just Mercy which was one of my favorites movies of the past few years, and this sounded like the perfect weird movie for Marvel to make. I checked it out in theaters and I'm gonna do a more simple good bad.

- Compelling story with great characters and plenty of emotional moments

- Feels less confined with its storytelling than most MCU projects.

- Has one of the best villains in the entire franchise

- Great action scenes (the martial arts style rocks)

- The humor is top notch (even if its excessive)

- VFX and performances are great

- There is a bit too much humor, even if it's all funny it got kinda annoying where it was placed at times.

- The third act is a little too bonkers (although I didn't hate it as much as most people)

a great movie and one of the better installments in the MCU as of late. I had a few minor issues with it but it wasn't enough to hurt my score that much. If you're a fan of the MCU definitely check this out, and it's better directed than a lot of Marvel projects. I see why so many non MCU fans are won over by this.
