I tried so hard to rack my brain and convince myself to find something to defend about this film.
Unfortunately this film is as bad as everyone is saying.
I felt no desire to learn more about this story, nor did I ever feel like I was invested in the bland development.
It's a shame this much money was wasted on a film like this, which was probably intended to be Oscar bait of sorts, but fails in almost every department.
I was bored and was offered nothing narratively or in terms of entertainment factor.
I tried my best to avoid putting this on 2022's Shit List but this is entry #59 of garbage films and wastes of time I've seen this year
