Once you get so popular as a filmmaker that you're allowed to do anything you want, remember: just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Yes, you can open a movie by having an elephant shit on a man and a woman piss on a man and anything of the kind, but it doesn't mean you should. Not if you need general audiences to show up to the theater to cover a budget of 80 million dollars.

The movie does improve a lot after the long opening though and aspects like camera-work and production value are amazing.

The problem with having no plot is that the narrative doesn't have turns or unanswered questions to keep the audience hooked. In that case, it's best to make the hero unpredictable like here, so that it's her erratic personality and the question of what she'll do next that sustains the audience's interest.

Winner of the prestigious Filmento award for best movie ever made. Pretty interesting character this Captain Jack Sparrow guy-- I'd like to see more of him in a sixth movie where we close out his story arc.
