i love you dialogue driven plot sci fi horror set in 1979, the unsettling atmosphere, retrofuturistic vibe of the house, and those constant lens flares.
the conversation between the characters were engrossing, without failing to keep me curious as to why they were invited to the house. it didn't drag me at all.
how many times have you seen an alien space rock awakened by puff from a joint? exactly. it's not sci fi if it's not a little silly. do not smoke in the obelisk chamber.
i respect the rich guy's decision to carefully choose talented people just to smoke and sniff with, i thought their expertise would be given more importance, but okay I guess.
