Damn, this (perfectly adequate) 1940s corrupt newspaper drama hitting hard in 2021.
90 minutes of after hours grocery store stalking and surprisingly effective gore. It's a slapdash slice of amateur regional horror that shouldn't work as well as it does. It's poorly paced, there's an ill-concieved character turn, there's not really a story to speak of, even for a low budget slasher like this (most of the runtime is just watching grocery store workers stock the store before getting killed).

This movie is dark, violent, nasty, and insane. If none of those adjectives appeal to you, stay away. This isn't a feel-good movie.
However, if you want something fresh in the world of horror, I highly recommend you check this out.
