An early Adam Sandler flick I had never seen ... but turns out I was not missing much.
"Hey, buddy, I'm not paying you to hear your thoughts on life. I'm paying you to sing ... Well, I have a microphone, and you don't, SO YOU WILL LISTEN TO EVERY DAMN WORD I HAVE TO SAY!"
(Quip of the review: The movie could have easily been better without that stupid haircut!)
Bottom Line: Story-wise this is as basic as rom-coms get, with a few quirky Sandler moments to give it some flavor. Easily Drew Barrymore is the best part who is absolutely adorable. Thankfully these two did end up reuniting for '50 First Dates', which I recall being better.
