  I think I'd caught the odd scene of this film a few times on late night TV years ago, but until yesterday never finally sat down to watch it. Not exactly sure why, the idea of Jennifer Aniston playing a genuine character as opposed to her usual rom-com roles plus the always excellent Jake Gyllenhaal always gave me the idea that The Good Girl would be worth checking out.
