Decided to finally watch this because it’s the 10th anniversary. Bummed to realize I liked it about as much as I always thought I would! That final scene at the diner is charming though. As is James Franco. (Surprisingly.)

I love every minute of this, it hasn't become worn out for me at all during the numerous watches since first seeing it in the theater back in 2008. Pineapple Express is pretty much the perfect silly comedy for me - stoners involved in ridiculous situations and constantly saying hilarious things, over-the-top action and fight scenes, explosions, 'heat-seeking missiles... bloodhounds... foxes... barracudas....' - all of this involving Seth Rogen and the usual crew that show up with him in comedies.
It's a great time.
