When the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood begin a honey harvest, young Piglet is excluded and told that he is too small to help. Feeling inferior, Piglet disappears and his pals Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, Roo and Winnie the Pooh must use Piglet's scrapbook as a map to find him. In the process they discover that this very small animal has been a big hero in a lot of ways.

It makes me lowkey a little mad that Piglet's friends never realized what an amazing friend he was before he went missing but they really learned their lesson and made up for it so I guess it's okay!
i havent seen this movie since i was a kid 'cause my vhs machine broke and i legit started to cry during the last 10 minutes i really really really love this movie and piglet so much

this is the first movie that made me cry. i watched this yesterday and was balling by the third minute. piglet loosing his friends, and his entire scrapbook full of his precious memories all in one day? yeah, prepare to make niagra falls blush. weeping is an understatement ladies and gentlemen.
i cannot bring myself to give this film a rating, it is unparalleled to anything i’ve seen before in my life. up? sit down. moonlight? not even close. i see you way in the back, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind? close but no banana, pal.

For a movie called Piglet's Big Movie, it's hardly big or anything to do with Piglet. It did have a cute callback to the Tigger Movie, the message was decent, and the ending was quite wholesome. But the movie is mostly just flashbacks to Piglet's deeds and just comes across as episodes to The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. On top of that, Piglet is not very much in the movie if you remove the flashbacks which begs the question, where was he while his friends were looking for him? I also wasn't a fan of the songs from Carly Simon even sometimes taking me out of the moment. The climax had the same problem as The Tigger Movie where characters had to survive danger which I felt like it didn't need to be there. Not awful by any means, but it's doesn't feel like it needed to be a movie.

Hehe. I'm so glad I watched this after watching Perfect Blue. I think that the Winnie the Pooh films are some of the best children's entertainment out there! It's so enjoyable, and it has a genuine heart and moral to it. The dialogue is wittier than most titles aimed for the same demographic, and I love that an anthology film exists in the Pooh Universe. A bundle of warmth for a cold winter's night, what could possibly be better?
