Most bio-pic subjects are set up like clean God-Idol effigies in a Fatherless, Mindless, Godless landscape. (Spike Lee ain't innocent)
Panther constantly reminds that values & actions are molded, tested, then shambled by sensitive, conflicted human beings. Lopsided by our own violent impulses. Betrayed by stingy, wannabe-capitalist drug pushers. Stalked by salacious, nefarious gatekeepers of "democracy", "law" and "order" (the FBI). And interracial paradoxes are seen along the way, as geared Black Panthers notice curious whites passing by, even show a comrade's peaceful solidarity (a joining of hands).
"The Struggle Continues" is a quote never been put in a more powerful context in any other Hollywood movie. Cleaning the world starts with cleaning our own domains, and even the Panthers knew that.
